Claudia Sheinbaum comparte su visión sobre el primer foro de la reforma al Poder Judicial
Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, virtual president-elect of Mexico, was questioned upon her arrival in Yucatan about the first open parliament forum regarding the reform of the Judiciary.
“Very well, it’s good that everyone participates, that they give their opinions, that it be a public debate, very good,” commented Dr. Sheinbaum.
It is important to remember that in said forum, legislators positioned themselves in favor or against the initiative that seeks to elect judges, magistrates, and ministers by popular vote.
After announcing the names of the people who will accompany her in her cabinet, the president-elect sent a message to the workers of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN).
“They should not have any fear or problem, all labor rights will be respected and they themselves have the opportunity to participate in the election of judges, because they also have experience, they can be part of positions that are now granted through favoritism, through family members; so what we want is to clean up the Judiciary and the workers have all their rights enshrined,” commented Claudia Sheinbaum.
With this statement, Sheinbaum reiterated her commitment to transparency and meritocracy in the selection of judicial positions, ensuring that all workers have the opportunity to participate in the process. This message comes as part of Sheinbaum’s efforts to bring about meaningful reforms and ensure a fair and impartial judiciary in Mexico.
