Apoyo unánime a Circe Camacho en el cierre de campaña en Xochimilco

Clara Brugada, candidate of Sigamos Haciendo Historia (Morena, PT, and PVEM) for the head of Government, participated in the closing of Circe Camacho’s campaign in Xochimilco, where she committed to continue the transformation of the demarcation through improvements in mobility and respect for the environment.

“We are going to recover the lacustrine city in Xochimilco, with its canals, its tourism. We are going to transform public spaces with Utopías and ensure that each indigenous town in Xochimilco has its plan for justice, because we are going to be a government that addresses the peripheries and their inequalities, so that they have the same services as in other parts of the city,” she stated.

Brugada also promised an alliance with residential units and emphasized that a victory for Morena will bury the opposition’s dream of raising the metro fare.

Priorities in Xochimilco

From the Central Plaza of Xochimilco, Clara Brugada announced that her goal is to build a regional hospital as well as schools of all levels, while also renovating and improving the existing ones. She plans to build day care centers for the elderly, rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities, and child development and care centers, as part of the Public Care System she will implement in Mexico City.

She reiterated that her priorities in the city will be security, water, and mobility. In terms of mobility, Brugada mentioned that among the five Cablebús lines that will be constructed, one will connect Milpa Alta with Xochimilco and the rest of the city.

After outlining the new social programs she will implement in her government, Brugada called on attendees to “fill the ballot boxes with votes, hope, and joy” on June 2, so that her strategy can become a reality.

Circe Camacho, candidate for mayor of Xochimilco for Morena-PT-PVEM, not only urged support for her candidacy but also encouraged voters to support the candidates for deputies from the same alliance, Erika Rosales, Carlos Ulloa, and José Carlos Acosta, all present at the event.

“We are going to guarantee governability to Claudia Sheinbaum with our deputies, who will be the first to defend the Fourth Transformation,” stated Camacho.
