Ivonne Aracelly Ortega Pacheco: La nueva Diputada Federal de Yucatán

Ivonne Aracelly Ortega Pacheco, a renowned Mexican politician and member of the Movimiento Ciudadano party, has secured a seat in the Chamber of Deputies of the Congress of the Union. Ortega Pacheco, originally from Dzemul, Yucatán, joins the list of federal deputies for proportional representation (plurinominal) of Movimiento Ciudadano.

Her extensive experience, spanning 26 years of political career, includes having served as governor of Yucatán, senator, federal deputy, local deputy, and mayor of Dzemul.

At the age of 25, Ortega Pacheco began her political career as mayor of Dzemul, Yucatán, in 1998. Since then, she has held various important positions, including local deputy in 2001 and federal deputy for the II Federal District of Yucatán in the LIX Legislature in 2003. In 2006, she was elected senator of the first minority for Yucatán, and in 2007 she made history by becoming the first elected female governor of Yucatán, a position she held until 2012. Her leadership and commitment to the state have earned her continuous support and notable recognition.

As a federal deputy, Ortega Pacheco plans to bring her experience and vision to Congress, with the intention of promoting policies that benefit not only Yucatán but the entire country.
