Apoyo político en Chimalhuacán: líderes españoles respaldan a Claudia Sheinbaum

Ada Colau, social activist and Spanish politician, and Gerardo Pisallero, a congressman in the Spanish Congress, were present at the event in Chimalhuacán with Claudia Sheinbaum, candidate for the presidency by the coalition Sigamos Haciendo Historia, showing their support.

The former capital chief highlighted in her post that both are sympathizers of the Fourth Transformation, in addition to considering them good friends. She also thanked them for their presence at the event leading up to the elections on June 2.

In this way, Claudia Sheinbaum continues to strengthen ties with politicians from other countries who have shown their support for the movement led by Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the current president of Mexico.

The former head of government mentioned her guests during the rally in Chimalhuacán, thanking them for their support in her electoral process and asking for applause for them. She then praised the two individuals and what has defined them throughout their political careers.

Of Colau, she said, “she is an extraordinary woman, a fighter, who also fought a lot for Barcelona and its people in difficult times.” On the other hand, of Pisarello, she highlighted “he has defended President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and what he has been doing in our country.”

It is worth noting that Claudia Sheinbaum has been accompanied by various figures who will also be part of the upcoming elections in her travels across the country, showing the support she has from the party membership. In the case of the Spaniards, the reason for their presence was not specified.
